Project Pitch Video
Due: October 20 (Friday), 23:59 KST
What to submit: A video. See below for the details.
Where to submit: OpenReview
Create a project pitch video with voice-over. The video must have the following format:
- Video format: mp4
- Max video length: 3 minutes
- Resolution: 1920x1080
- Voice-over. In the project pitch video session, your video will be just played, and you won't be able to speak over the video.
Project Pitch Video of the Past Years
Title Slide
(Click "File" > "Save As" > "Download a Copy".)
- Begin your video with a title slide.
- Download the template and fill in your project information, including the project title, project track, team ID, and teammate names.
- Display the title slide for at least 5 seconds at the beginning (you can start your narration from the title slide).
- Add photos of each team member to the title slide.
- Refer to your project ID in OpenReview.
Content
Include the followings in your video:
- Motivation
- Problem definition
- Previous work
- Main idea. Emphasize the technical novelty and contributions.
- Experiment setup and success criteria.
- Plans and timeline
Video Capture/Editing Tools
- PowerPoint slideshow recording
- Zoom recording
- Adobe Premiere (Download from FTP)
- OBS Studio
Grading
- Late submission: A 10% penalty for each late day in the project evaluation. (No late days allowed.)
- Wrong format: A 5% penalty for each case below in the project evaluation. Wrong formats include:
- Incorrect video file format
- Inaccurate video resolution
- Absence of narration
- Exceeding the allocated time
- Missing any components in the content.
Award
After the project pitches, you will be asked to vote for the best project pitch. The best pitch will be awarded a 5% bonus in the project evaluation.
